Waiting for Titor is an alternative synth rock band featuring members from Manchester (England) and Faenza (Italy). The band name is inspired by John Titor, a fictional name used by a blogger claiming to be a time traveller from the year 2036.
As the visionary man from the future, Waiting for Titor is pursuing the future of music. Waiting for Titor is an ambitious “beyond the band project” with a true European spirit. Travelling and playing in different countries the band forged its sound as a cinematic mix of rock, electronics and orchestral elements influenced by bands like Nine Inch Nails, New Order, Depeche Mode, Foo Fighters, Sigur Ros and Massive Attack.
The first release of the band is an original and personal interpretation of Massive Attack song “Teardrop”, now available in the main digital stores.
The band then release its debut EP “Halo pt 1” in June 2017 via Diva Records: recorded and mixed with Belgian producer Geert D’Haene (Yum, Asimov) and mastered by highly acclaimed Italian engineer Giovanni Versari (Muse).
So, what are you waiting for? The future is today.
